Sonia made her name as a watercolour painter, working primarily out of Bloor West Village, Toronto, but she recently started using acrylics. Her paintings are in the collections of some major corporations and the City of Toronto. She has sold hundreds of her small watercolours to private buyers.

Some of her work is currently on display in Wellington County's municipal offices in Elora, Ontario. However, she is not painting new work -- or exhibiting anywhere else at present – due to time constraints.
